Because the mode of participation is hybrid this year, we recommend to both in-person and online paper and poster authors to read this page carefully.
This year, IEEE RFID conference is offering a hybrid mode. That is, both in-person and virtual attendees are allowed. Below is the list of prices. All prices are in US dollars. Instructions for in-person and virtual registrations are below the table.

In-person registration
For in-person attendees, use the link below to register for the conference via the RFID Journal LIVE! Event registration system. Be sure to select “IEEE – IEEE RFID Conference + Exhibit Hall Pass” during registration!

For in-person attendees without paper or posters:
Perhaps you are a member of the industry community or simply wanted to attend the conference because you were interested in RFID technology. To access the video content of the presentations, you are required to create an account on EDAS for free (create account here). Then, follow the instructions below (in red), no matter if you are not an author. For any further info, contact the Registration Chair (registrationchair@ieee-rfid.org).
If you are a paper or poster author and you will attend the conference in-person:
If you intend to participate in-person to the conference, and you are also an author of a paper or a poster, you must first register via the RFID Journal LIVE! Event registration system and then also register via EDAS system for free. Please, follow the instructions below:
- Register to the RFID Journal LIVE! by selecting the “IEEE – IEEE RFID Conference + Exhibit Hall Pass”;
- Contact via e-mail the Registration Chair (registrationchair@ieee-rfid.org) to ask for your PERSONAL EDAS REGISTRATION CODE;
- The Registration Chair will provide you the PERSONAL EDAS REGISTRATION CODE;
- Open EDAS at the IEEE RFID Conference 2022 registration link
- Select the link”Registration codes” (see photo below). Then insert your PERSONAL EDAS REGISTRATION CODE. An option with registration fee 0$ should then appear. Select at first the “cart”, then click on the small “Credit Card” icon to register to the conference;
- Please, if you cannot see all the registration options, click on “update your society membership”;
Please, remind that in order to get the PERSONAL EDAS REGISTRATION CODE you must first be register to the RFID Journal LIVE! Event. Do not email the Registration Chair before.
Virtual authors and attendees
If you are not planning on attending the conference in-person, use the following instructions to register for virtual participation
If you are a virtual attendee, either you have a paper, a poster or you are just an attendee, you must register to the conference via the EDAS link.
Please, if you cannot see all the registration options, click on “update your society membership”;
How to pay through EDAS
If you are a virtual attendee, or if you are an in-person author, you must follow the instructions below. Please, notice that if you are an in-person author, you will not be charged by the EDAS system since you have already paid to register to RFID Journal LIVE!
